Summary
本研究以中國機讀編目格式簡篇第四版為依據，提出一份可行之DTD作為書目資料庫結構，並透過系統實作方式，以XML為基礎架構一個編目系統模組，其目的在探討XML應用於圖書館自動化系統之潛力；此外，藉由系統實作，亦展現了XML在資訊組織方面之優越性能。;This paper proposes an applicable DTD database structure based on the brief version of CMARC version 4. DTD is further developed to an XML-based cataloguing module. This paper explores the potentiality of implementing XML in library automatic systems and its capability of organizing information.
